Newborn Visor- Boys Photo Props

As newborn photography becomes more popular, the demand for adorable props is on the rise. Pretty Baby Accessories is happy to keep up with the trend by offering unique and affordable props for girls & boys.

The newest addition to our collection is Boys Newborn Visor Hats. The hats are made with quilt shop quality cotton fabrics in fun, trendy prints. They are made with a hook and loop (Velcro) closure for easy placement on baby's head.

We will be adding more Newborn Visor designs in the coming months. As always, we are happy to take requests for custom color combos. We are also able to make visors for toddlers and for girls!

Esty Kids Team Interview- HingMade

Phew! The holiday rush has finally wound down. That means I am back on my mission to find the best of the best in the world of the Etsy Kids Team. My latest find is the fabulous HingMade, where everything is 100% handmade with love and care.

I had the pleasure of interviewing owner Hing so that I could share her creations with you all. Read the interview, get inspired, and maybe you'll get lucky! There is a giveaway to go along with this article <3

When did you first discover your creative talents?
I studied art in school and have always had a love for arts and crafts. Seeing something go from concept to design to a product that goes to someone who appreciates my work makes me very happy.

What made you open an Etsy Shop?
In the beginning, I design and create as a hobby. Then, I discovered Etsy and saw so many talented artists. I wanted to join them and get people around the country and the world to enjoy my work.

What items do you make?
I mostly make baby mobiles now. I also make children soft toys, finger puppets, soft books, ornaments. I welcome custom orders!! If there is an idea, I'd love to help you realize it!

What's your favorite item to make?
I like every item I make so it's hard to choose a favorite. I especially like custom orders where customers give me one or two nursery pictures and ask me to design a mobile to match the nursery. I really appreciate the trust they place in me to create unique mementos for their babies. And my customers' feedbacks have been very positive.

Where do you see your business in the next 5 years?
I'd love to start creating other kinds of toys and ornaments. My current goal is to make a few sales a week. That way, there is enough demand to keep me motivated but also enough time to take care of my family and be thoughtful about my creations. That also allows me time to continue hand-making each piece with details. I insist on sewing each piece - instead of glue - that way, my creations last longer and will bring lots of memories to my customers for years to come.

What inspires you to keep going and how do you keep yourself motivated?
I love animals and nature and I like to incorporate those into my creation. I get motivated by my customers' kind feedbacks and appreciation pictures.

How do you promote your business?
I spend most of my time creating and wish I could promote my work better. I use Facebook, Twitter, and Etsy Search Ads for advertising.

Lastly, any words of advice for aspiring designers/artists/crafters?
Spend time creating but remember to spend time spreading the word about your work as well. Knowing that people see and appreciate your work keeps you motivated to create even more things.
